Default Wyoming's new direction/design (updated pics 8/20/12)

So after someone tipped my bike over, I recieved a healthy check from insurance, and because I'm doing the work... I choose the parts . This time around I'm inspired by a more "racing" influence. Needless to say, I believe I'm ditching all my spiked parts.

Here's a sneak peak at the redesign so far...

Stretched gas tank/ cut seat.

Shaved gas tank seams

Relocated gas tank vents

Brushed all chrome

Cool,,,,, You know I was wondering,,, Do you have a heated garage? I never really thought about what people do with their bikes in the wintertime.

I have a "mancave" which is where I`ll do the work.

NJWarrior- I think I`ll wait till spring to post the pics. BUT I don`t think I could keep them to myself for that long so I`ll keep ya`ll posted as I go

I have listed the exhaust, grips, risers, and internal throttle in the classifieds.

Gilly's right, it is a pic of Kyle's 280 swing arm. I just shipped out my swing arm and wheel to him yesterday and just got my Metzler 280 as well.

Headlight- is actually an aftermarket Vrod headlight (don't have it yet). I just need to find some 54mm fork clamps that I can modify for some mounting brackets.

I'm going to run an internal twist clutch and therefore needed a small pulley to be machined to attach to the clutch lever to give me a bit of mechanical advantage and I just received a call today that it's finished. Will post pics later.

Exhaust- I was going to sell my modified 3" big straights but when I removed them I noticed when the bike was tipped over, the weld on the lower pipe for the rear hanger tore a hole in the lower pipe. SO... I've decided to chop them more. Here's a pic of the mock up. It's pretty much going to be just straight up "strictly business" attitude. They'll be made the same way I did them orginally.. just shorter and straight. I'm also thinking of painting them with a flat silver/grey header paint.

DISREGARD THE SIDE PLATE!! That was a cool idea in my head but was quickly scrapped after seeing it on the bike lol

I really like that headlight.
What are you gonna do with that birds nest of wires in the stock headlight?
