Default Follow my build from start to end!

Hello! I bought my 07 warrior with 3k miles on her, and it's time to start modding her out. I've done several Yamaha's before and I'm stoked to turn this one into a badass machine!

Stage 1: Flip and Grind, Rear Mud Flap/Blinker Delete, Front Blinker Delete, new Metz tires.

Stage 2: K&N Straight filters right on top, custom velocity stacks, custom exhaust (real custom, not bought), ECU reprogram.

Stage 3: Drag bars, custom handles, mirrors, pegs, gauges/pods, headlight.

Stage 4: Pearl black paint w/ a red stripe (to match my other vehicles)

Stage 5: Rake kit, 300 Rear Kit, Single side arm, custom rims, air bags.

6/1 - Completed Stage 1 of the process. Here are some pics of the progress.

Suspension Joint Ground and Painted:

Before the rear grind / delete:

You should see a close up of the rubber on it now. There are parts with 100% metal all the way across, it's insane. 6k on the stock tires and that was it. Tires are getting installed tomorrow, because I love to ride- so I will ride while I do all the other mods ^.^

So- weird side note. After I deleted front/rear blinkers/tail light license plate light, I'm having the WEIRDEST electrical problem ever.

1- Turn bike on and run it for a few minutes, all works fine.
2- Turn the motor switch to cut the engine to OFF.
3- Turn the key in the OFF position.
4- INSANE clicking noise coming from near the starter. Sometimes its CLICKLCLICKCLICKCLICKCLICK super fast. Sometimes it will go CLICK wait a few minutes... CLICK.. wait a few minutes.. CLICK. Really weird. It's not the normal sound that it makes when turning it on/off. I made sure all the wires were capped off 100%, and it's still doing it randomly.

Any ideas on what could be causing this? Do I need to splice any of the wires together to complete something? It sounds like a solenoid that has lost it's mind completly. Like a weird short or something. What's more weird, is that it happens with the key totally off and out. I know the front blinkers have 3 wires going to each, I just capped them all. Same with the rear wire loom, all are capped. Only thing on the rear is the LED light hookup, which is 100% in tact and working great.

OK fast update- this is an awesome site. I searched clicking and found out I have COD, click of death- from the decompression solenoid goin nuts. I see the temporary fix is the shut it off with the key only. The more permanent fix seems to be to wire in a resistor or put a bulb off the wires somewhere concealed to bleed off the extra juice? What is the best way and safest/most permanent? Anyone been successful with this fix before?

+1 on the tins! I'd love to swap tins with you if I had the money to cover the shipping both ways.

Yeah, I do love the flames. One problem- it came stock on warrior's and the last thing I want is to pull up next to some guy with matching paint. A little embarassing! So I gotta make it my own, and I love painting so.. lol. Here are some new pics of the new rubbers installed. Love metz's! Got em on all my bikes!
