Default Updated photo with the bullet fairing.

For those interested in the bullet fairing it takes a lot of the wind off your chest. I like the look and the functionality of it.

that looks good. i'd like to get/manufacture some kind of "lip" on the top of mine. i think it'd make a big difference keeping the wind out of my face. no helmet. i know that's not your problem so it must work really well for you.

It's the bullet fairing by Memphis Shades. The fairing came from phat performance parts. Black trigger lock plates came from custom cruiser parts (i believe) and the fork clamps were custom made by Memphis Shades.

Does it actually function well as far as taking some of the wind off of you or do you think it's purely cosmetic?

Try www.laminarlip.com (I think). They may make one for that fairing. Here's the one they make for Yamaha's mini fairing:
