I decided to do a little project to change up the look of my bike. I still need a little practice with my spray technique, as I came out with a little bit of texture in a couple areas. Overall I think it is looking pretty good though, and I can always peel it off and redo it if it bothers me or if I want to change things up again.
I'm waiting for my friend who does vinyl work to cut me a stencil so I can spray a Warrior logo on the tank. Here's some pics during the process... After the first coat: ![]() ![]() After about 5 coats: ![]()

isn't Plastidip that rubbery coating? so you're spraying that right over your stock tins and can literally peel it off if you want? pretty clever way to change the look and protect the stock finish. what pipes are those? they remind me of rhineharts but i've never seen them angled up like that before.

The pipes are a set of discontinued Hard Krome Xcellerators with the muffler left off and tips put on instead. I got the bike all reassembled this morning so here's a couple pics: ![]() ![]() Hopefully my friend has time this week to make me my stencils so I can get the warrior logo on there. I'm happy to have the "Star" graphic covered up. |
