Well after seeing all of the pictures and right-ups on Plasti Dip, I decided I would try it on my helmet. Not the best, and I think I will redo it at some point, but all in all it worked out pretty well. One note, if taping a design, don't use masking tape to tape off the dead areas. It left a sticky residue all over the helmet that brought down the look. Oh, well, 6 dollars and a little time to try it out.

Plasti Dip Helmet, or Bike question.
COULD you do a (yes I will say it) double dip? What if you dipped the helmet or fender on color and after it dried placed a cut out of taped flames on it and dipped a second color on it. Would the tape pull the under coating off? Would the "double dip" cause a problem with the first coat? Might be a less expensive way to so some creative 'painting' on the helmet and bikes.
