I loved that sound myself. My samsons could definitely wake you up if you were coming into my lane...not to mention when I was on my way home the wife could hear me from 3 blocks away and would have the gate open waitin for me to pull in....I'm thinking about making the switch to the V&H Big Shots tho just for the Hp and Tq gain. I like noise but I LOOOOOOOOOOVE more power.

You won't be disappointed. I've had these pipes on for about a month now and absolutely love them. They are not going to wake up the neighbors, but you can definitely hear them, especially when you get on it. Quality is top notch and I love the way they look and sound. It took about 3 weeks for them to really break in and open up, and they are definitely louder and better sounding than when I first put them on. I did post a video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVbL49WTauY

Look at the Vance and Hines set. They look better on the bike than the Cobra's. I would have went with the V&H swept pipe if I had more cash.
The Big Shots returned the WHEELIE power plus some to the Warrior once my Sampson pipe broke in half. |

I beg to differ on the V&H swept looks in comparison to the Cobra SpeedsterSwept. TheV&H pipes don't have constant diameter of the heatshields all the way back, and aren't radiused as nicely as the Cobras. |

I've had mine now for about a month and wanted more sound. (They are very quiet,IMO) SoI drilled a 3/8" hole through the center of each baffle. The sound is much better!

Just ordered these tonight. Wont get them till the 28th or so and Im going away the 29th to 15th so I guess I'll have them waiting for me when I return!
Love the look, love the style, we'll see about the sound loader than stock is nice, but I don't like REALLY loud pipes. All in all I think I got a great deal out the door and shipped for under 500 bucks! |

I am really interested in these pipes - I like the look of them and from the videos I've seen I also like the sound. While talking to some Warrior owners I got some bad feedback about Cobra's quality though. How are these holding up for you guys that have had them on for a while? Any discoloration, rusting, cracking, ect? I've read about the Cobra slip on and their mufflers for other bikes having the chrome get foggy - has anyone had that with these pipes? Has anyone had any other issues with these or other Cobra exhausts? And if so how did Cobra take care of the problems with their warranty?
