Default Rear Tire?

I have to replace my rear tire soon and was wondering if I should keep the 210/50ZR17 M/C on it, or go back to the OE 200/50ZR17? I like the looks, but Its hard to find these tires! ... I can find a bunch of stockers but not alot of 210's. Anybody have any suggestions on where I can find them reasonable?

I have a Dunlop 200 50 zr17 Sportmax Road Smart tire on the back with over 6000 miles now. When it eventually needs to be replaced, I'll get another Dunlop Sportmax Road Smart

The 210 has been discontinued. Metezler was the only one making one in that size I believe. I ran a 210 before switching to a 260.

A lot of us run Michelin PR2's or 3"s. Excellent tire.

The PR series is a 190 for the rear and has the benefit of making the bike much more responsvie, flickable compared to the stock 200 or larger. It is a remarkable difference and definite handling improvement.

Those of us who run 190's would never go back.

Hard to discern the difference betwenn a 190 and 200 looking at the bike due to the 190 having a flatter profile on the rim.

190 looks better, too.

what is the difference in the 210 to the 190?? Obviously the width, alot smaller, correct?

I hate giving up the fat tire look, but if it gives me more power I might consider it!

I appreciatte the opinions greatlly!

Again Thanxs for the helpful info on the tire issue!! I am swaying towards the 190. Maybe that is why , to me , the bike seems sluggish on take off? Although Im use to my crotch rockets!...lol

Are they 190/50 ZR17's?
