Great bike and good price, I would jump on it unless it's been abused.

The 2011 Warriors sold in Australia and New Zealand were reportedly 2009 USA bikes but I don't have enough information to guarantee that. It would be nice if our down-under brothers would hunt one down and steal it for a little investigation . . . or at least report the VIN from the frame neck and we could verify. Since the tank emblem on the 2009's reads Star (not Warrior) it should be easy to tell the diference. Especially if the bike is still on a showroom floor someplace.

I bought my 05 for $6000 back in July this year. Due to they don't make these anymore and they seem bullet proof I thought I got a good deal. There is a guy selling a 2002 with 14,000 miles for $6000 not more then 20 miles away from me. So to me I think you have a deal there depending on condition.
I have owned 7 other bikes in the past from a 929 CBR to a 1982 Suzuki gs850 and my warrior is by far the best bike. Comfort, speed, lots of mods, bad ass style and the reliability of a Yamaha all in one. I will be buried with mine!
Going to install the vbak, Ais blocks and get a new map for my winter mods this year. Got to buy mirrors also as one has started the rattle.
Gook luck on your purchase!

Coming from a Honda VTX 1300- another bulletproof honda bike, i have to say my warrior has never dissapointed- and the power, handling, and endless mods have kept me very happy without affecting reliability one bit.

Do it- don't look back.

Sorry if I'm thread-jacking. I'm in a similar situation. I'm looking to get rid of my Buell because of reliability issues. I just want a bike that I can ride and not fix all the time.
There's an 02 Warrior for sale for $4000. It has 11K miles. Exhaust, corbin seat, drag bars. New rear tire and battery.
From what I've seen, that sounds like a **** good price. It's a few hours of travel time but that's no big deal. I'm asking if the recalls were done on it. Is there anything I should be looking at?

I have a 2002 and i love it. I would say your pricing is good, but perhaps you can negotiate "better" ? Never hurts to ask.

"good afternoon, I have a friends drag star Warrior, but havent used it in many days, and I do not know where to charge the battery, help."

The battery is under the seat, directly in front of the rear wheel. Remove the seat with the key, and follow the wires. good luck.

La baterķa es bajo el asiento, directamente en frente de la rueda trasera. Retire el asiento con la llave, y seguir los cables. buena suerte.
