They look like the Radiantz flextube LEDS with a tie wrap added in. You can do the same thing with Radiantz but you might also consider puting them on your lower triple tree which will give the same effect having the flash on the side and the front and the bends are less drastic. also if your triple tree is black they are not too evident until they actually are on. Don't forget that if you use this type of setup either on the fork or the triple tree you will need to add a dual element circuit to keep the running light function.

Christo,

Thanks for the input. Are you saying there is enough room between the tube and the LED strip to insert a small zip tie? If so what is waterproofing the ends of the tube when this id done. I will be sure to order the dual element circuit fr the running lights. Also, the CD customer service rep said to get the EDFR flasher relay to slow the blink down, said it replaces the factory one in the fuse box?

once everything is in place you can put a bit of silicone in the openings to seal in the wires and the zip tie. Also the ends of the tubes come out so I usually put a bit of silicone around these before inserting them as well. If you have LED flashers in the rear and you put LED flashers in the front as well you will need some type of load equalizer to stop the click otf death syndrome. You can buy reeady made equalizers or you can search the froum as several threads have been written about this. some people aslo leave regular type bulbs on their license plate or wire a bulb in under their seat or in one of their instrument clusters or guages. this puts a load on the circuit and prevents click of death however it does not change the flash rate. When you go to LED flashers the flash rate is much quicker than normal. Radiantz sells a small sytem for around $5 which regulates or slows the flash rate. I believe you can also change out your flasher for an electrronic flasher which is what they (CD) are probably talking about. I have the rqdiqantz resistor in stock but have not had a chance to use or try one as of yet

If youbuy the tubes that are not prebent you can bend to fit your tubes with the help of a heat gun. remove the LEDS and just heat the tube a bit while bending it into shape and then keep it in position while it cools. Remember the flex tubes bend back and forth but not up and down. the tubes may bend both ways but the leds inside do not.

Search radiantz flasher install, justice did it and it was a good write up. I have one of the radiantz, but never installed it, I kinda like the faster flash rate, and I just use the key to turn the bike off to bypass the COD

Parkinglot, thanks for the search info I agree it is a good write up. I bumped it to for those doing the mod and to see if there is anything newer out there as far as the flasher relay goes.

So I'm getting ready to order these. Would you guys get the 52-58mm size for below the triple tree installation?

I hear our forks are 54mm so I ordered 52-58mm, they will have to wait until I get home to install them though. Let me know what you order and how they fit when you get them installed.

Hi Guys,

I have the radiantz flex led that look exactly like these, without the ziptie. I LOVE the clean "no lollipop" front fork. These lights (assuming that are at least as bright as mine) are excellent for turn signals. I do not use them for running lights...headlight is there for that.

attached Pic below has a front shot with them visible above the lower tree.

I am interested in the help the ziptie adds as i have mine 3m taped. Holding strong with no lifting, but i like the idea of the added support.

I have been considering changing to the black ones below (same company ironicly enough): Wrap Around LED Fork Turn Signal Kit - Chrome Glow
