Hi Laura!

My name is Gary. I can't even imagine going through life without my life partner, my wife. So I can only imagine what loss you must feel. We ride together all the time as well.

I will pray specifically for you and your family daily from now through this coming Christmas KNOWING that Jesus will comfort you and your family in your time of need. We serve an awesome God Laura, and he can do anything if we just ask him.

Be Blessed, today!!!!
Gary

I wanted to tell all of you how much John enjoyed the people here and his Warrior. Some of you may know that I bought him his 05 Midnight for Father's Day and snuck it home into our garage without him knowing. Such an awesome surprise for him! He had a picture of it up as a screen saver for a year and we had gone around test driving everything in the world out there. He was IN LOVE with that bike!
The day of the accident he had around 70000 miles on it... 4 years ago we rode from CA to Sturgis to Georgia and back one summer and camped the entire time. We rode everywhere together! Riding was our passion as a married couple.
The manslaughter court date is still pending and I will be going to court to read my statement to the judge and to the woman who hit John. She is only being charged with a misdemeanor because she was not texting nor was she alcohol or drug impaired. But no charge could bring back my husband or turn around my life which is now upside down.

Please keep me in your prayers as Christmas approaches and that I can stay focused on Jesus rather than focused on loneliness.

Terrible news. My sincerest sympathy goes out to Laura and their family. Tragic story. Stay vigilant out there my friends, never, never assume.

Hi Laura, so sorry for your loss, my prayers are with you. I am grateful you got to speak with him before he passed and that you are secure in your knowledge of where he is now, so much better than not having that security.

Are you still riding? I can certainly understand either way, just wondering.

Hope you are able to continue the healing process, and please stay in touch here, we all care deeply. God bless.

Laura,
My wife and I ride together as well...your story hit me deep in my heart.
I was saved 4 years ago..rather late in life as well - rest in the assurrance that your husband has gone home to be with the Lord. I am very sorry for your loss and will keep you in my prayers.

John 14:1-4
Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God[; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.

Great verse!
I emailed Laura a little while ago and mentioned the same verse, believing that her husband is there, awaiting her eventual arrival...

Laura, I pray for your peace and comfort.
The avitar is my wife and I...

God is a great and wonderful God.
We can lay our burdens on Him.

God's Blessings,
Doc S

It is always sad to hear of a fellow rider who goes down and doesn't get back up.
