I got my 240 rear tire, rim and hidden caliper via UPS from gchafilo today, so I tore it down and started the grinding so everything fits nicely...Tomorrow I still have to do the grinding to clearance the caliper and rattle can everything....I am hoping it will all be done so I can join in on a ride a friend is putting together for Sunday...will probably be the last for the year...but at least I will have ridden it once with my new fatter arse before the snow stats falling!

Went for a ride between raindrops to burn-off the remaining fuel in the top tank, this weekend I'm gonna set-up the undertank with vacuum hose extensions to the underseat area to allow me to sync the TB's without pulling the tank or side scoops. The stock left connection is gone (-AIS) and the stock right connection has been a little relocated (VBAK) so have to pull the tank to get access to the vacuum points. Seems silly. I'm also going to bend a screwdriver to adjust the right-side sync screw which means getting around the right side scoop and TPS. The spring screwdriver doesn't get at it. While the tank is off this time I'm also going to re-check the plugs and determine if the Cobra CVT is doing any better as currently set-up (Ver2 pot and ECU Bump).

How often do you sync the TBs?
What do you consider symptoms for TB sync adjustments?
idle problems, off idle problems, etc?

Took her out for a nice ride. I told the wife I'd take her out to dinner but living 20 miles away and getting 12 miles/gal plus paying tolls didn't sound good to me.

So, I found my bandana by accident (I was gonna use a black dress sock), plugged my headphones in, turned on Pandora radio, threw my backpack on and went for a nice cruise to the wife's work, Best Buy and Walmart.

Wanted to try out a bar end mirror, but they didn't have the $7 one, so I picked up this rubber $14 one just to try it out.

I like it, besides the fact it's rubber and vibrates and going 80mph it moves from the position that I need it in. I'll be taking it back and getting the $7 one. I love the clean look it gives the bars.
