I have front, rear wheels and rotor cover done by Cycle Image about 8 years ago. They litterally look as good as the day I got them. I've been beating on my warrior for over 10 years and for two of those years it was my only vehicle, rain or shine. I'm not fanatical about cleaning and polishing them either. Frankly I didn't think they would last this long when I got them. I was wrong.

well you have to polish the wheel before plating the wheel so i would say if you want it to last the longest, polish it and go. you can polish aluminum and let it go for a long time and then just give it a good rub and polish and your back to what you had. you will never do that with chrome, ever! btk572
