Default New Warrior owner/exhaust question

Just picked up a 2006 Warrior about a month ago. I've been lurking on the forum for a while now. I've searched the topic of Vance and Hines short shots so I think I already know the answer but I'll ask again anyway.

So these definitely won't fit the Warrior even though the ad says they will?
Vance & Hines Shortshots Staggered Full Exhaust for Roadstar 1700 03-07 - Full Systems - Exhausts - Cruiser Parts - SoloMotoParts.com - Motorcycle Parts, Accessories and Gear

Disappointing if so.

On that link that you provided they are showing a free 60 day return with no restocking fee's. Can't you return them?

Welcome to the forum! The vance and hines website does not list the warrior for the short shots. Vance & Hines: Performance Exhaust Systems

I haven't bought them but I'm sure returning wouldn't be an issue if I did buy them and they didn't fit. I just wanted to get a definite confirmation from the forum whether or not they would fit. I looked on the Vance & Hines website and they don't list short shots as an option for the Warrior which sucks because there aren't many exhausts or slip-ons that I like and/or are reasonably priced or available.

I like the Road house slip-on but that doesn't seem to be available anymore.

I like the Holeshot performance full exhaust but that's pretty pricey.

welcome to the forum. be sure anything you purchase is road star "warrior" specific. You will see in a lot of catalogues and other advertisements that there are listings for Roadstars and listings for roadstar warriors. You will see sometimes in small print for Roadstar advertisements "(except warrior)" I would not order if it is not warrior specific. you can always call to ask and if they say it fits then you will have no problem returning it if it does not.

It actually does say it fits the Warrior at the bottom, which is retarded.

You can get some Samsons if you like that style, and put different tips on them. All the Samsons (streetsweeper etc) are the same pipe with different tips.

Welcome to the forum

Snow
Welcome to the 4m
Just a heads up, what ever pipes you get, spend the extra money and get yourself a new set of exhaust flange gaskets. When installing make sure you tighten the nuts and bolts to the correct torque. You can pull the studs out of the front head if you over torque them.
