Test of Paint over Plasti-Dip

The paint can was very cold as was the steel and the basement.
So, the plasti-dip came out kind of thick and had lot of texture.
if you warm the can, and your parts are warm, you eliminate the texture.

Anyway, the paint went on well, did not attack the Plasti-Dip and peeled off fine.

My 99 Mustang needs a paint job. This has me thinking.

Well, so does my Warrior, but I don't want a bobber look...

Hey Randy, looks killer man. I guess when all those midnights were next to your bike last month, you felt intimidated . Your giving me some ideas.....

Reading up a little more on this as I'm seriously considering it.

From what I've found, be careful when you fill up. It looks like gasoline can damage plastidip as it acts as a solvent.

Next Season, I'll strip the Plasti Dip off and grab some Harley Black Denim Paint and do it right...... Doing this made me realize I want a black Warrior. which in my opinion, looks better than a Midnight, and will probably be faster too LOL

Brother, you can coat it with 10 layers of black, call it a midnight, and add another 349 hp (which is a midnight stock). But deep down beneath all that, the soul is not the same. hehehe
