Default Plasti-dipped my blue flame tank and tins black

Goes on easy and looks great.....
Kind of that old school hot rod flat black look with a very fine texture.
Tank not completely dry yet, so you can see a little difference in color near the gas cap area.

Purchased 4 cans, still have 1 - 1/2 cans left.

Going to throw a few more coats on the tank.

How do you apply it?

Clean your tins with the cleaner they provide.
Make sure everything is dry and dust free...
I'm painting in an unheated basement, so cranked the heat upstairs to 80 in the house.
Let the tins soak at the 80 for about an hour. and also filled up the kitchen sink with 120 deg water, and let then Plasti Dip Rattle Cans float in a bowl of hot water for about half an hour. After the half hour, the paint was around 80 - 90 degrees and went on very smooth. Since the bike is put away for the winter, I'll put the tins in some plastic bags after they cure fully. (They say 4 hours, but I'll let them sit in the air for 24 hours) Then come spring, give them another couple of coats before putting them back on the bike.

So did you literally paint them on with a brush, or a foam brush or what?

Nope, spray cans..... so far about 6 coats

From here:

Only cost me 50 bucks to see if I am going to like black, Which I am sure I Will....

And if you do not like it, or want to change the color, just peel it off and your old paint will be protected just as good as the day you plasti dipped it.

If you just peel it off, then how good does it stick? If I bump it too hard, would it peel some off?

Nope you have to really want to peel it off to get it started.
From what have seen on the videos on that site and Youtube, this stuff is not
going to accidentally come off.....
