Has anyone headed to the San Francisco Bay Area riding on secondary roads?
I'm planning to ride my Warrior to the west coast with the primary goal to stay off main highways (Hwy 10 & Hwy 40). Any input on roads selection is appreciated. Thanks Nelmar

What about Graham to Roswell, then west to the 25 north into ABQ, take the 40 west to Flagstaff (not a terrible road all things considered) to Las Vegas, then north on the 93 to the 50 west into Carson City, then stay on the 50 up to Lake Tahoe and down the west side into Sacramento. If you are going into SF then I'd just take the 80 west when traffic isn't too bad. It'll be a chore to go back roads without going a long way out of your way in most cases. On the way back you can go a little further south and go thru Yosemite headed east.
