Just wondering what kind of world this has become, where you have to chain your Motorcycle at church!

Maybe in the near future, a small gold chain to keep your Bible attached to your belt, you know, so there won't be any "pray and grab"..... . . |

Don't feel bad Nelmar.........years ago I forgot to remove a disc lock that I had on the front wheel on my sportbike. Mounted the bike, buckled my helmet, turned on the ignition, hit the starter button, put her in 1st, let out the clutch and down I went. I was younger and quicker and manage to save her from hitting the ground too hard but it sure taught me a lesson about disc locks.

Don't worry I did the same thing at Bike Week Mrytle Beach. I had a disc brake lock on and I forgot to take it off. I eased the clutch out, rolled forward a few inches and bump, what? I stalled? I haven't stalled in years! Lets try again, this time the front wheel was turned and when I hit the lock and I lost balance and me and my wife are on the parking lot with another bike waiting for our space! Embarrassed. After that I bought one of those bright orange cords that coils from the lock and hooks on the brake lever on the bars to remind me. Haven't had it happen again since I got the cord. Oh well, I learned a lesson I won't soon forget.

Is the "Someone just stole my bike from the church parking lot" world that would concern me...

One of the easiest and better reminders and face savers. it is bad enough to forget to remove the lock, even worse when you do it in a crowd. at least there was not much of an audience for your mishap

Hey man, don't feel too badly about it. I once bought a Harley. The rest of you... SHUT UP.
