I've been looking at getting new bars, anyone have any experience with these.

They look pretty nice, but you might need some bars or risers with some pullback.

I guess I'm not all that worried about the pullback as I'm 6'4" with pretty long arms . I'm a little more concerned with the rise for tank clearance.

Here's a question for you guys. Will the stock clamps accept a 1 1/4 bar or will only the stock size of 1 inch work? Is that what you were getting at G?

You will have to have different clamps, stock clamps will only fit 1" bars. I think what G was getting at is the fact there is almost no pull to those bars. They may hit the tank, they may be uncomfortable, but you won't know till you mount them up. I had the tall yami risers with a straight bar at first and they weren't bad because I am 6'4" as well but eventually wanted a little different style and a slightly more comfortable bar so I switched to what I have now

Ok . Thanks Jbat. Thats what I thought he was saying. I guess I should probably be looking at some risers as well as the bars then.

I have no experience with the LA Chopper accessories but you will need new risers if you go with the selected bar of 1-1/4" OD at the clamps.
CHUBBY makes a 1-1/4" OD bar that is necked at the riser clamps and will work with the Yamaha Billet Risers. Check 357Warrior's gallery for photos.

For reference i'm enclosing my current set-up that i've had for a couple of years. It's the bar in Red in the enclosed Acad dwg. Deuce (HD) risers & Flanders Clubman bar
