if the plastic is to prevent the water vapor from "rising"...I'll need to extend it out of the foot print of the shelter. If i extend it beyond the exterior footprint of the shelter, when it rains/snows, the liquid will collect on top of the plastic, and will run under the edges of the shelter, and into it.

If i cut a sheet to fit "inside" the shelter, wouldn't the water vapor just work its way to the outer edges of the sheet, and then evaporate "into" the space of the shelter?

am i missing something or unaware of the science of it?

perhaps this is the only way to achieve some isolation... wrap the bike in the plastic sheet, and throw a container of damp rid in there...?

has/does anyone wrap or enclose their bike in a plastic sheet with damp rid before? Remember, this would be up on the plinth, inside the shelter...
