If you guys ever need something that will stick whatever the weather conditions look at some 3M 5200 marine adhesive. It works.

I would not use any permanent kind of fixative like gorilla glue as you could have a lot of trouble if you ever have to remove them. if you have tubes then use a tie wrap and new double sided tape and if they are just a stick on strip then put new 3m double sided tape on them . This stuff is used to put a lot of different parts on cars
That's the thing, they did have 3M double sided tape. She sleeps in the garage and it can get very hot in there now that the temps are rising. I cut small strips of 3M tape and put it under the wrapz and zip tied them for like 3 days. They were good for maybe 2 days and they started peeling again. Going to check if they do have the slot for the zip ties on the inside Ang go that route.

Knock off 3m tape doesn't hold very long. I have found that if the backing isn't red it will not stay stuck.

I've used Locktite double sided tape on my first set of wrap around led's, also for accent lights and chrome covers, sticks like crazy, give it a try. It's clear with a red backing.

Gorilla brand makes a clear double-sided tape that sticks very well. I used it on my KLR650 as the 3M tape that came with the strip LED's I put on was starting to peel off after a couple of weeks.

I have a question since we are on the topic of LED's.

I would like to run some lights that will light up the engine but not sure where to place them and if strips or tubes is the way to go.

Thanks,

I used strips and put them on the frame rails pointing down-ish. I also have some where the stock coils were and on the vertical frame piece behind the motor.
