Default Needed 2009 wiring diagram -?

Anyone have the diagram for an 09? how about technical specs? Im wanting to install a pc5 on my 06 but from what i am told the ECU connector has changed from the previsous '0x-'08 style. Is this really the case? If so, how about the 09wiring, has it changed?

I ve tried to talk to dynojet about it and i can only get the salesmen, which most of them are completely clueless about technical specs - one one of the guys has helped with some info but that has run dry.. obviously wiring is wiring, it can be changed but my question was has the warrior ECU wiring been changed?
Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,

You said your bike is a 2006 so you can't verify. I feel your pain! You are the first to mention that the ECU wiring connector for the 2009 Warrioris different from previous years. I have not seen a 2009 service manual yet, and don't even know if its available. It would be odd if the '09 differs though. If helpful, my understanding from Yami/Star earlier this year was the '09 is identical to the '08(and probably '07 '06) in every respect except for paint color.

The one thing that has changed is on the Power Commander products, which recently added a Warrior-correct TPS plug to avoid manual connections. I wonder if this is the aspect they are actually talking about? This TPS plug is correct for all model years, although someone with a 2009 could post a pic of their TPS to be sure (again odds are its the same).

I know this isn't much help, however if the PC5 fits the '08 then it will fit your '06. It will very very very likely fit '09's also.

I do wonder about how many advantages of the PC5 over the PC3USB can be actually utilized on the Warrior.

[*]No Change in P/N's as shown below [/list]

Using model year 2004 as a bench mark and moving ahead in years

Taken & confirmed from these 2-Online Parts Fiche:http://www.motorsportssuperstore.com...les&mfg=Yamaha

WARRIOR MODEL YEARS 2004-2009

2009-2004 ECU 5PX-8591A-01-00

2009-2004 Main Harness5PX-82590-20-002009-2004 Injector Harness 5PX-82509-10-00

2009-2008 TPS 8GL-85885-00-00
2007-2004 TPS 3P6-85885-00-00 **** 3P6-85885-00-00 (replaces 5PX-85885-00-00 & 5PX-85885-01-00)

The new TPS '09-08' shares the same earlier main electricalharness so there is no issue with the device. There also appears to be a major price difference of $100.00 between the earlier & late TPS& new P/N's for the throttle body assy which might be because of the later TPS being part of the assy number.
The stock exhaust system is unchanged andthe head pipesstill ship with the 2-M6 factory test ports! You'll need to weld a female bung for the Wideband Commander O2 sensor similar to as shown here on a Speed* pipe
