Hey all, I am trying to wire the pro one chrome bullets as rear turn signals and can't seem to get them to work. I had the clear alternative mod done but it snapped off so I figured I would place the original brake light back on and use these. In wiring the clear alternative brake light many moons ago, I cannot remember what goes to what? I did find a search on here that resulted in the follwing;
Brown= right Green = Left Blue = license Black= ground I wired as such and everything works but the turn signals. Do I need anything additional to make them work? Thanks in advance! |

Both turn signals must have a ground wire,so you might check to make sure they are grounded,and check your blinker fuse just to make sure you did not blow it. Do the pro one blinkers have one wire or two coming out of it? You should have 2 wires coming out of the blinkers for them to work i think.

Single-wire turn signals will work if their metal mounts are attached to metal so the frame etc acts as the ground wire, else attach a ground wire to the turn signal's metal mount and run that ground wire to the wire grounds (there are a couple black wires under there with bullet connectors that can be handy).

Thanks very much for the info. I actually went about it the hard way. I took the guts from the original signals and used them in the pro one signals. The originals had a ground. I'd done this before AZ Warrior's response which would have saved me alot of time! I guess it pays to be patient. Thanks for the help and quick responses!
