I talked with Yamaha USA and they checked your recall status based on the VIN you provided. Your RS Warrior needs two recalls completed, and you have to buy the parts. NOTE: its suggested you be sure the parts are actually bad before assuming replacement will fix your current trouble.
1. Crankshaft Position Sensor (Pick-Up Coil) has not been done. Yamaha Recall #990038 2. Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) has not been done. Yamaha Recall #99034 The Part# for the complete CPS Kit is posted above: #90891-30047 (the gasket comes with this) Or, The Part# for the newest version CPS with Harness is: #5PX-81670-00-00 (sensor only) The Part# for the crankcase gasket need for CPS is: #5VN-15451-00-00 (gasket only) The Part# for the TPS for your Warrior is: #3P6-85885-00-00 (newest version for 2005 bikes)

I'll go out in the evening to open the cover of the engine as shown on page 5-58 service manual. I need to check whether the signal by wire. If the wires are all well you must order this sensor. And wait for 1.5 months

Your Warrior is a 2005 so yes the Recall Kit Part Number 90891-30047-00 will work.
If you cannot find a kit or if the seller will not export, then buy Gasket Part Number 5VN-15451-00-00 and CPS Part Number 5PX-81670-00-00 separately. But the kit is a low price.

Thank you very much, you always help me!
You wonder, I found the desired sensor in Russia, he was sent to me at the post office, but it was stolen! I had to repair the old sensor and now I ride with him. Now going to purchase a translation new sensor)

![]() A more permanent solution for the repaired CPS is shown below when mine failed in '06': Silicone bridge to the engine case used to prevent vibration of the pick-up coil bracket. Pick-up coil terminals also encapsulated w/Permatex silicone.

I wish you all the luck in getting your parts. I can't imagine how difficult it is to get the things you need over there for your bike. I had to go through 4 different dealers in 2 different cites 400km apart to get my new cps and gasket. Not a single one of the service people or parts people had a clue what i was taling about. Thankfuly this site is available. And I live in Canada.
