Default Two things

Some of you know already but I just got my warrior today. Driving it around I noticed some things that I want tweaked and also key turns a little hard even when pushing down on it sometimes won't go. The tweak is which I'm gonna sound stupid being a mechanics kid asking this but is there anyway to lower the foot brake feels high for my taste.

The brake pedal pretty much stays in the same spot. Use a little WD40 on the ignition switch hole. They tend to get a little sticky from the moisture that gets through the key hole!

Wait! I've never tried it on this bike but you mean to tell me you can't move the break pedal a couple of teeth down on the spleen and shorten the brake rod? Is this what you're talking about?

There are no splines. Just a brass bushing to slide over the stud.

The brake pedal can be raised or lowered by adjusting the linkage.

Meh...you don't need the rear brake. But, if you must, Jabo has the right idea.

When I saw the thread title - "two things" , I wondered what this was about - and HAD to look.. lol!

As already said by the others - the pedal can be adjusted by the rod length. I adjusted both sides - closer!

And as already said by SOME of the others - meh! ha ha !

Meh? ha ha .... I love it Matt!

Hmmm...I dropped my first bike years ago with a gravel+turn+front brake combo, and so have adapted to using both at the same time, with more rear than front unless I need to brake HARD. Do you guys really not use your rear brake? I think I've been a little gun-shy of the front, maybe even subconsciously, for 15+ years because of that incident. I value the combined experience of everyone on here. Jump in and teach me!

I trail brake all the time, don't listen to those guys

On another note -I wouldn't spray any type of oil into the key cylinder, because oil attracts dirt, and you'll be worse off than before after a few months. Get a squeeze tube of graphite, and squeeze some powder into the keyhole. Also -my key is like that too, you get used to it and figure out how to get the key to turn, and it's no big deal after that.
