Idle is 850~950 so I wouldn't be surprised if the band starts around 1200 but I haven't seen that spec. My Beast's power band starts about when I turn the throttle ' ' that far!

I have owned and rode dirt bikes in my day, and bunch at that. With them it is obvious where the power comes in at. They were two stroke. Now I am into street bikes for the last umpteem years. They are a different animal. Now back to the warrior. This bike is tuned for low to medium RPM torque. It seems that the rpm you stated is where the torque curve starts rising. With churchkeys VBAK, I seem to notice a substantial increase from 3k rpm to the rev limit. Even though it pulls like a nitro tractor in that rpm range, it is still different from what I would call a power band. I am just referring as power band as to the way the old two stroke dirt bikes used to do. My 1400 Concours seems to come alive about 3.5k rpm and then scream from 5k to the redline 10.5k.

I probably did not help much, but I thought I would give my .02.
