Default Chain gang...who's running them

Curious to see how many people out there are running chains. If you are what size chain and sprockets are you running? where did you get your sprockets from and what rear bolt pattern fits the warrior drive?

For the curious people, its not for this bike, its for the next one...stay tuned

I am also interested since I like messing with gearing on my sport bike!

Converted to chain drive in 2009 and then last year back to belt.

I much prefer the belt, for one thing it's cleaner and is easy to maintain and lasts longer
But which is better and safest? I think the belt is best!

Harley rear sprockets will work. Sports are offset, others require a spacer.

IIRC 21 is the smallest front you can run. Chain stuff is at the shop & specs are on that computer.

Check G&S cycles & Boward Motor Sports for front/rear sprockets etc.

530 chain 22 front 51 rear front came a member on this forum and the rear is for a harleyblike stated from churchkey. Longevity for me was about 20k miles, but the only reason I converted was the turbo and extended swingarm.

Awesome, thanks guys. The reason I am interested is I want to see if I can put an R1 rear wheel on so that I can run a set of lightweight aftermarket jobbers. So if it will work I either have to convert to chain or see if I can put the warriors pulley on the R1 wheel.

I think it can be done either way you go.

We will see next week, a set of slightly rashed R1 wheels are on their way here.
