I'm over the fuel situation, I'm leaning towards my battery. I know there are opinions out there in 4m land, & I'm waiting for just the right number of posts, so I can make a decision.

If I were buying a battery for my Warrior today I would prefer one of these although the prices have not come down enough yet as of today. I keep this note in my Profile's Bike Tab for when I need it. If I find what seems to be a better battery I'll usually include it as a secondary to-be-investigated. But if I were buying today I would want either:

Shorai LFX18A1-BS12 = 18AH, 270CCA, +/- [5.83" (148mm) x 2.60" (66mm) x 4.13" (105mm) tall].
Shorai LFX14A2-BS12 = 14AH, 210CCA, +/- [4.45"(113mm) x 2.28"(58mm) x 3.50"(89mm) tall].

There are a lot of others who have great battery choices, hopefully they are around this week and will also chime in.

Red face Battery

Well on my way home from work today I was paying particular attention to my headlight as I was intent on adjusting it a little tonight. On my way home I noticed that I wasn't "noticing" my headlight! So I pulled into my driveway & I couldn't open my garage door! I recently installed a "Flash 2 Pass" garage door opener, where you toggle your high beams 2x, & the unit sends a signal to open sesame. There I sat, no headlight, & the opener no workie. I got in thru my car's opener, but my bike wouldn't start so I had to push that heavy sucker the rest of the way UP my driveway into my garage. Yanked the seat, dug down to the battery, thru my jump-battery on it, it started right up, every thing worked. DEAD battery. I was able to get one @ Batteries Plus. Not a nice Li-ion but an everyday, AGM 14B-4. My last one lasted me 5 years 11 mo. & 64555 mi. So no waiting, I'll be on the road again tomorrow! Maybe in 5 years I'll order one of those "nice" Li-ion ones.
BTW, you guys are, as always a plethora of information. Kudos to all who helped me chase that down.

Thank goodness you were home.

Having said that, your headlight doesn't run off the battery. So what's going on there? When you started it back up, did it work properly?

Yeah, it did work. I would have thought that it would have worked off the alternator, but it didn't! When I was parked at the top of my driveway, engine running & I put my hand in front of the light & when I would flick from hi to lo & back again, all the light would do is flicker dimly & also just momentarily. I got a new battery yesterday, hope to install it today.

Default Battery?

Well replacing my 6 year old Yusa didn't do the trick! I rode it today for the first time since I installed the battery, stopped for fuel on my way home from work, & it wouldn't start. I got it jumped & home, now I gotta figure out what's wrong. I guess I need to check my alternator output, & ???
Any quick ideas out there?

Was afraid of that. How many volts do you read on the battery when the bike is running?

So, here I sit looking @ the "troubleshooting" guide & my voltage readings were 11.94v at idle & dropped to <9v when I screwed it on... Do I really have to pull the exhaust system to verify the "stator"? My gut tells me it's the regulator... Please tell me it's the regulator... Is there another way to verify the windings? I just don't want to pull my exhaust, on Thanksgiving weekend...
