Default Rear turn signal install.....

I bought a Jardine quick release backrest from a forum member. The kit replaces the fender support bolts with longer ones, and has bushings for the backrest base to attach. I already use the two forward support holes to mount my rear turn signals. I am trying to incorporate the Jardine bushings into the turn signals, and can't find the bolt I need anywhere. I have attached a picture to show what I mean. I need a 5/16 - 24 threaded tube to make this work. I find threaded rods, but not tubes. I don't have a way to drill the hole myself. Does anyone have an idea? While taking these pictures, I decided to grind down the center of the turnsignal shaft so that the bushing will slide over it. I will post how that goes, but still looking for ideas.

Thanks

You should be able to find a machine shop to drill them out for you at a reasonable price.

I did find some hollow bolts from a turn signal company for $18. Then I thought of just modifying the parts I have, and I think it worked great.v I just ground down these bolts until I could fit the bushings on top if them.

Yeah, I love the free fix, but feel pretty dumb that I went to 4 "hardware" stores, searched the internet, and called stores, when I should have just thought about how to solve it with what I already had. I was taking pictures so I could post my delilemma here for help. I looked at the item I was photographing when it finally hit me that I could modify the existing part. I think I figured someone here would suggest that.
