Default bike wont stay running

in have a 02 warrior it ran great all summer i havnt ridden it in a couple weeks cus weather has been rainning or cold so yesterday i was gonna ride it fired right up i let it warm up a few min. then i took off about a block down the street it started backing firing real bad and shut off i kep getting it going enough to get it back home so today i took the tank off drained all the gas out whe i had the tank off i started it it would run good a min. then shut off any ideas out there

Is this the same as this thread?

bike not running

Cuz we posted some ideas there. Maybe you could respond to them -either here or there- so we're not posting up the same suggestions twice.
