Raking the frame brings the trail back to within stock specs and makes the bike ride more like stock except your turning radius is a lot wider. Rides better on the highway but not so in town. I am buying the mortons trees this month or next so i'll see how much different it is.

Please keep us informed...im interested in this mod.

Anyone know if there are any other compatible 21" wheels Like is it possible to fit a harley 21 on the warrior or something off another bike perhaps? Just want a cheap 21 solution that will still bolt on.

ok guys, im a "show me pictures" kind of guy... I found Midnight Run's bike and it seems that he has 21" front on 2002 R1 forks WITHOUT A RAKE.

Are there any issues to be aware of with this?
Ride height?
Trail Issues?
Can you just slide in R1 forks into stock trees, mount the 21 rim and ride without issue? (i know the brakes need to be swapped over also)
Do you have to use R1 forks or can you use stock 2002 forks?

Equip List:
  • RC Components Czar "Eclipse Series" 21x3.5 front 18x8.5 rear
  • Dunlop Elite 3 120/70/21 front, 240/40ZR/18 rear
  • Deleted front fender
  • Deleted right side disc and brake caliper

no mistake its a great looking bike...

+1, Luv2LafMcc. I'm wondering the same thing. Thinking about using my stock forks. The additional question I have is, Can I still rake it with reza's 6 degree trees and slide the forks up the tree about 1 inches and use a 21' front wheel without any problems. I've slid the forks up the tree to lower the front an inch and also installing clips ons on top of the trees.

Any advice?

I already gave you a ton of info on brake lines in your triple trees and fork length thread!

just buy whatever wheels you like and can afford and take them to a machine shop and have some adapters made. will cost you less than $50 bucks.
