I'm installing the Sharp HID kit and looked thru some of the threads people posted already. It looks like I have an extra yellow connector & small connector & I have no clue where this thing goes. Can anyone help me out? I connected the ballast to the + terminal on the battery, the harness into the ballast & the HID bulb to that. It seems however that I have this extra 2 plugs & what do I do with the existing headlight connection???
I attached a couple pics if anyone can help me out...trying to get this done tonight... |

OK, so you DO have some wires connecting the relay to the stock headlight plug? Cuz nothing is plugged into it in your pictures. I had a small 2 wire plug that came from the relay and plugged into the back of the lightbulb. Is that what you're showing? And I only see 1 plug, but you're referring to two. Are you talking about that ground wire I see (that's unattached)?

Man, I don't know. That thing that says "new" on it is something I didn't have.
I'd PM BurnChassis, he helped me out a lot. If he can't help, I guess you should be able to get SharpHID to help you. Sorry I couldn't be of any help.

Leader, it looks like the thing in picture 4 of your thread that's tied together. Is that not the same thing?

that whole bundle was the relay wiring. One end went into the headlight, and the other end went into the ballast. The other wires coming off the ballast is what I added the 3 foot extension to, and then that extension plugged into the other two wires coming off the headlight. I agree though, that the shape of the plug is the same -flat- whereas the extension plugs were round. It's almost like you're missing something. I keep looking at your pictures, and something doesn't add up...

It almost seems like it should plug into your ballast, but then I don't know where you'd plug that plug into.
