Dynacoil relocation + hid - Road Star Warrior Forum : Yamaha Star Warrior Forums

I just upgraded to akitadog's dynacoil plate and it leaves less space than the other plate. I'm having trouble finding space for my waffle ballast. Does anyone that's done both mods have any pics of how they placed things? All the threads I've seen aren't with the dynacoil plate.

I was in the same boat as you. I had the stock coils relocated with the akitadog plate. I finally decided to ditch the LCV and mount the coils on a mount on the left side of the motor to make space for the ballast under the tank. Not sure how you can get that thing on the plate with the coils and sensors all mounted on there with risk from that thing getting so hot. Do you have any of your side covers still that you could hide it under?

Nope, I got rid of both side covers. I'm not thinking I should maybe mount the coils to the left side...
