Anyone have one of these installed?
Sounds pretty cool as it auto adjusts mixture etc as the bike runs via sensors that are scanning 80 times per second. Do these plug in without any fiddling around with cutting wires etc? Cobra Fi2000 Power Pro Tuner/EFI Controller Yamaha Road Star Warrior 2002-2010 | eBay |

There's a few members in here running them. There's a afew threads on them in here too so be sure to do a search and read up on them. The cheapest I've seen them go for is $440-ish delivered to your door but I'm willing to bet they be can had for $420-ish later this Winter when sales get slow. I plan to buy 1 for my bike sometime in Feb 2013.

Yeah Im thinking of a cobra swept too. they look wild. I just hope they still sound aggressive with/without baffles and if removing baffles, if sounds good, hopefully doesnt lose performance.
My current pipes set off car alarms and sound amazing but I don't like how they look so much. |

What type of pipes do you have now and what mods are you running ???
reason I'm asking is that there's a thread or 2 floating around in here with handfuls of maps that might be your fix for your popping issues. |

I don't have a pc3 or anything to add custom maps but I was wondering if I get into programming mode, would increasing or decreasing the co2 levels help? and if so + or -?
It backfires when coasting, pops here n there and sneezes on some shift down blips.. The pipes are large twin system no crossover by 'over racing' and it has a BAK under the tank into the throttle bodies bypassing the side intake totally. Its pretty wild. Might go down and mess with the levels just slightly now and see if I notice a diff.. any advice b4 I start would be much appreciated ![]()

I love mine. Just plug it in and you are good to go. No wires to cut. I see you mentioned that you had a BAK, did you by any chance do the Ais Blockoff. That will help a ton with your popping and backfiring.
