Default year,mileage,valve adjustment

my bike runs great.just hit 17,000 miles.i am curious as to what mileage you might have adjusted your valves, if at all.

i checked mine at 18,000 and they needed no adjustment...just fyi.

Bike has hydraulic lifters so there is no need to adjust unless you have torn it apart and are reassembling or are really anal and want to make sure the rocker to valve clearance is still the same as it was 17,000 miles ago (it will be)

I checked mine at 48,000 and they were good to go. Waste of time to check them unless they are making noise.

Did mine at 38K but it was due to installation of pr cams,lifters, and pushrods. If it wasn't for that, I would not have even check clearances.
