thanks. yeah u might be right there.
I think Ill do the same when they wake up...
Its 3pm here
Took a while to get my trees.. AND they appear to have been dropped before postage as there is a chip taken out of the bottom edge but I dont think it will be noticeable.

As far as the chip in your bottom tree, if it bothers you, the trees i think are polished aluminum and can be tig welded so you could have it welded and then polish it back out. Would like to see some close up pics of the trees. Are you going to put the extensions on the forks or take it to a dealer for that? I think i am going to try and make the tools to remove the caps, they don't look very complicated plus i want to change out the fork oil while i have them apart. I will need to get some new riser bolts because i here the trees have Harley spacing and the 14mm sleeve for ours is not needed. I am looking forward to seeing yours installed.

Thanks for the link Alan, i run a custom headlight so i will not have to worry about all of the bolt on's. I will have to deal with the lower brake line brackets though but hopefully that won't be to much of an issue.

Nice link! - Im *hoping* that since it was a 2009 tree in that thread, that hopefully Mortons have tweaked the design enough now to make for more compatible transfer of stock hardware during the install...
Anyway, Im going to take this one to Yamaha to do as if I try it I will most likely be without a bike for months lol - plus it's kind of important its done right.
Will def post pics!

I just got my mortons trees a couple of days ago and they are nice and heavy duty. They forgot my big washer that the bottom bearing sits on but have it in the mail for me plus they sent me a long sleeve T shirt, Yee-haw. These are a lot more heavy duty(thicker) than the stock ones are and a little bigger. They must be making them for the warrior with 4" handlebar spacing now because mine measures 4" instead of the 3 1/2" harley spacing like others have. I run separate risers with a bar so it really doesn't matter on mine. I went ahead and bought there bearings because my bike has about 49,000 miles on it so just might be worth doing it now while it is apart. Looking forward to seeing your pics BrutalPancho and will post mine when i get finished.

just a heads up guys when you are torquing your triple trees (steering head bolt). there are two torque settings one high and one low. you have to first torque to the high setting to set your bearings etc and then you back it off and then retorque to the lower setting. i cannot remember if this is clear in the instructions as i used both the stock instructions and the instructions from BMS

I'm going to get a yamaha mech to install mine.. rather not mess anything up. I ordered some bearings too just in case.
Will now order a new brake line with 2 inch over standard.
I think that is all that is needed in brake line size?

Yea, the initial tightening torque is 37 ft.lb. and the final tightening torque is 2.9 ft. lb. Remember to put the big washer on first before you press the lower bearing on.
