Looks like the mortons trees dont have holes under for the OEM style brake line mounts..
I might go for full length double race lines but Im not sure how to secure them around the trees to stop any rubbing?

IMO drilling and tapping the bottom side of the lower tree isn't difficult if you want to go in that direction with the OEM hardware or equiv.

There are more than a handful of members that have used a single hose to the RH caliper and a loop over the trailing edge of the frt fender to the LH caliper which will solve your problem and work just fine.

hmm. The brake-line people recommended going for full length racing twin lines that have a double banjo connector at the master cyl.
I dont mind doing that either. As long as there are ways to isolate the cabled around any movement in the tree edges to avoid rubbing.

IMO, the shorter the brake lines the firmer the lever pull as there is less brake fluid being compressed and better modulation.

Here's an excellent link: http://www.brazeauracing.com/rswarrior/brakeline.html

The lower tree on mine has 4 allen head screws that i assume are for the steering stops. 2 of those allen head bolts, one on each side, has a hole all the way through them and are threaded on top for the bolt, but on the bottom of the tree the holes are a little less than 6mm, because i can just run a 6mm tap in there to thread it for my 3 way brake coupler. The holes are not threaded on the bottom. I wonder why the holes go all the way through the tree? If mine are different i will take a pic to show what mine look like.

Here's an excellent link: Brazeau Racing - Road Star Warrior

And they look a whole lot better at the master cylinder.

Gilly mine have that same threadless hole at the bottom too.
Not impressed with the lack of bevel in the top bar riser holes for the rubber shock grommets either.

I got my big washer in today so i will be able to press my lower bearing on and maybe get the trees on. I am going to buy some fork oil and rubber washers tomorrow in hopes of getting the extensions on and maybe finishing these up. I am going to tap the right side hole under the lower tree to mount my brake coupler(3 way). I am hoping to get some thick rubber washers(1/4") to go on top under the risers and on bottom under the washer to sandwich the risers in rubber to maybe fix the problem. I wonder what others have done.
