I need to repair my Clear Alternatives (Sequential) taillight. It appears to me that some soldering connections may have come apart because of the progressive way it stopped working. Has anyone successfully repaired one of these units who could share some pointers? I’m going to dig into her this weekend either way. Thanks in advance, fellas!

Here's one thread from the Popular Mods. I'll try to find the other one too. Clear Alternatives Problem
Here's the other one: Clear Alternatives Taillight - Fixed Here's one about how to disassemble (ignore the mod parts): DIY Integrated Tail Light .

With those links Arizona posted you should be about set, I know on mine when I pulled it apart the board and LEDs were fine but a couple of the resistors had popped off, a simple solder of those back to the board and I was back in business. The resistors were different but I just matched the solder break patterns from where they had fallen off on the board to figure out which one went where.

This is the first time im reading about anyone having a issue with a cd tail light. I just know from my own dealings with ca products that the op would be better off switching to the cd tail light.

I bought a CA brand new from a guy who never installed it on his warrior. I haven't installed It yet either because I only read recently about the problems that RSW members were having after the purchase. Does anyone know if CA have resolved the defect in their product? I'm wondering if you buy one new today (if they're still available), does the same problem exist?
