Default Orient Express valve spring install question

So I am installing my set of Orient Express' valve springs and they come with 8 washers that I assumed were replacements for the lower spring seat. During install I noticed the Orient Express outer spring is shorter than the stocker, obviously its stiffer but still shorter, and the stock spring seat is shouldered, the Orient Express one is just a washer. So the question is...Is it to replace the stock spring seats like I thought or is it to go under the stock spring seat (which really doesn't make sense to me but OE is closed now so I thought I would ask you guys). Thanks!

Alright so for anyone curious...I got an email from Orient Express Racing as well as talked with them on the phone and on the Warrior, the washers they supply with their valve springs go under the stock spring seat and act as a shim where on the standard Roadstar they replace the the stock spring seat. Who woulda thunk?!

Good to know, I have these springs sitting around that need to be installed some day.
Thanks for the info.

There's nothing about this in their Warrior instructions?

The springs came with no instructions and I couldn't find anything about it on their website, do you know somewhere to look that I don't perhaps?

Nope, I'm just astounded and amazed at the lack of instructions considering this isn't something that's an industry-norm by any means. It has to be communicated to be known. Or someone needs to measure standing-heights and somehow figure out the washer goes there (and not in another placement to make-up the missing spring height) so I'm glad you posted this! I mean, I realize the flat washer could not go on top of the stock shouldered seat and also couldn't fit correctly on top of the spring, but this needs to be communicated to have any level of confidence in the install.

Exactly, I expected some sort of guidance because even though you need to know your way around a toolbox to put these in, like you said, there is no industry standard so who knows what setup your runnin

I feel like I want to say good job for being alert and heads-up on this, many would have slapped it together and called it a day. But I won't mention that 'cause you'll get all big-headed hahaha! J/K good job on your part imo.
