If you want to learn your bike then by all means go ahead and change them. I do recommend putting a few hours aside like I said and reading the the link I posted up top on the knowledge base and familiarize yourself with this bike prior to taking her apart.

What the difference between mobil 1 20w-50 synthetic motorcycle oil and just regular mobil 1 20w-50 synthetic oil? Can it be used in our warriors?

Mobil1 synthetic is designed for wet clutches. ... I've use Rotella diesel oil before. Do a search on the forum for type of oils to use...

Just make sure whatever oil you use is Jasco approved or approved for motorcycles.
