I've recieved several requests to do a how-to for this mod, so here goes. Thankfully I don't use my passenger seat very often but, on occasion the future Mrs. ex warpig likes to ride bike night and I really hated having to re-install all the brackets just for one night so something quicker and easier was in need!
I filled the bolt holes in the rear fender with some stainless allen head bolts I found at Lowes that sit flush, or just below the top of the fender, but you can use whatever you like as the suctioncups in this mod will not come into contact with this portion of the fender. ![]() 1-Remove the passenger seat and all related brackets attached to it. Unfortunately I didn't take pics as I worked but anyone whos ever taken off a warrior pass. seat knows what it looks like. 2- pull out the black rubber pads that cushion the contact between the seat and fender and replace these with the suction cups. 3- either cut the tongue off of the pass. seat that slips under the seat bracket (as I did)or, (as spiritlead did) simply drill holes in the tongue capable of accepting one or two of the black rubber pads repurposed from the where you now have suction cups. ![]() the onlydifficult part of this mod is finding the suction cups!!!! I manage a shop that among other things, builds police cars, fire trucks, other first responder vehicles. I have a gozillion of these suction cups laying around as they come with most dash lights and I refuse to use them in a customers car (they just look trashy and halfassed but work really well so I save 'em for other projects. I don't mind mailing these out to anyone who needs 'em but with all the people i've mailed these out to its gotten a lil expensive so I'm gonna have to limmit this to site supporters. You should be able to find these locally in a crafts store or a local police outfitter probably wont mind sharing a few as they are abbundant! just PM me with your address and I'll send a set your way. ![]() You will be surprized howtightly the seat is held on, it will require some effort to remove it and just for testing purposes I rode all day with it on the bike back durring the heat of the summer at highway speeds and it never felt loose and as you can see it looks completely stock! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ammendment----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- one forum member who did this mod lost his seat while riding (sorry Terry) so its probably a good idea to teather the seat to keep it from flying off while not carrying a passenger. This is how I did it. I got a set of blackshoe strings from walgreens and 2 10ga 1/4" ring terminals. ![]() these are the yellow insulated type (I just pulled off the yellow insulation) loopeda shoe string through each one andknotted. ![]() ![]() then just bolted it onto thestrap bolts, and when I install the seat I'll loop this under the strap that holds the tool kit in place under the riders seat. |

I looked at several different stores for suction cups, and found the perfect ones at Home Depot. They were in the hardware section and have a metal clip on them for hanging pictures that is removable. Comes in a package of 3 for $1.94, so you'll need two packages. I love this mod and hope this will help others locating suction cups. thanks for posting this mod.

I just wanna give a quick warning about this mod- DO NOT..and I repeat DO NOT- leave this seat on your bike without having a passenger on it-...I thought it would stay on...but...apparently I was wrong..I got to my destination and the passenger seat had "departed" the bike..lol....so...just wanna give you all a heads up...with a passenger on the seat..it holds up great...without a passenger on the seat...I'd reccommend leaving it off all together-
