The 1600 Roadstar motor (predecessor to the Warrior motor) had a weak link in the oil pump drive. Even with a broken oil pump the old Roadies would run several thousand miles, till the lifters collapsed. Many were put back in service with no repairs other than the oil pump, while some went FUBAR. Roadie drivers started to put OPGs and Warrior oil pump gears on their bikes.

All bikes need eye candy...Very nice 60ftgap.
Just a little tip you might want to pursue in the future. I've used the nylon hose several times, and while it is very durable, the the possibility of rub through is fairly high on a motorcycle...Especially v-twins that vibrate some. I have always ran the nylon tube through a section of rubber vacuum hose that is the same length. That keeps it protected much better. Plus if the line should ever crack, the oil won't spray everywhere...The rubber line should keep it contained, draining it out the bottom by the fitting. I love the look of that gauge, very sweet.

Yea i know but this was a local quick put together.nylon probably won't stay for long. didnt know if i would like it but I'm likin' it. got all the Earl's fittings and hose saved on my laptop. that blue anodized and red just looks cool. I'd like to do all the oil lines on the left and right side with the earl's fittings and lines too. I think Frankenstine had his that way. just savin' up
