Gilly let me know how they fit. If you think its an improvment i'll take a set just let me know how much you need for them. Obe question, can they provide new cir clips also?

Thank you

They fit perfect and work great. I painted mine black with heat paint for now so they won't rust till i get everything chromed. They cost me $30 for a set, so i want that plus shipping. I am not trying to make any money off of these. Just trying to get started making my own exhaust and had a few extras made. I used the old cir clips off of mine. I will look to find a place to purchase the cir clips for future use. Probably could buy them from Mortons. Here's a pic of what i have.

I am sure Mortons would send you one if you do not have that piece. Just so you know, you must install the torque cones for these pipes to seal right. And also, i would suggest using the mega copper silicone exhaust sealant to prevent exhaust leaks.
I had some exhaust flanges made, but they cost me about $30 a set because i only had a few sets made. I am sure if i had a bunch made they would be cheaper, but not that many people have the Executioners for me to justify making a bunch of them. I have one other member that said he would like a set if i had some made so if you guys want them at that price plus shipping you can have them. I am going to install mine in a day or two, so if you want to wait till i make sure they fit perfect before you buy them just let me know. These are raw finish.
Thanks Gilly, I called Mortons and between the information I gathered on the forum and them, I was able to figure out that the pipes I purchased weren't shipped with that bracket or with torque cones, so I ordered both from Mortons and they are shipping to the shop. Thanks for the tip using the exhaust sealant, I will pick some up.

I think I will hold off on the flanges until I see how my bike turns out with these pipes on there. At least I know where I can get them if I ever need to. Thanks again for the help.

As long as you don't run your bike lowered they might be alright. If your bike is lowered they are going to scrape the tips more than likely. That's why i modified the ones i have. Mine perform and sound great. With the torque cones i do not notice any performance loss. No problem on the flanges, i did not intend on selling them anyway, was just going to help you out if you needed them. I had extra's made so i could try my hand at making custom exhausts for our bikes. Good luck with yours.

What is the diameter of the hole cut into the flanges?

I would be interested in a set, if they could come in stainless... I am already thinking of making another custom exhaust for mine

Your way seems like a lot of unnessecary work and cost. My bike came with Mortons with the tips slash down. I liked the look of slash out better so I recut them. Dont have any pictures of the work itself.

Before

Pulll your exhaust and tape off the area you are going to cut with blue painters tape. Scribe a curved elipse on the tape with a felt pen. Basically the profile of how you want the tip to look.

Cut with a cut off wheel.

Shape to final profile with a pneumatic angle grinder and finishing discs.

After. No painting, and no rechroming. Chrome hasnt chipped or flaked in 4 years.

For what i paid for my pipes, the new flanges, plus having them re-chromed i still have no more money in mine than they cost brand new so i am still happy with them. What kind of fuel management are you running with your pipes? And did you have it dyno'ed?

I have a Power Commander. It was already on there when I bought the bike. Ive never had it dyno'ed. It would probably be a little underwhelming since Im at 4800ft.

Well the previous owner may have had it dyno'ed for those pipes.
