Hi Guy's, I have an 03 warrior and the crazy passenger foot pegs are just way to high, anybody have any suggestions on what are the most comfortable peg systems for the rear, thanks!

I think his thread is called "The comfortable Peg Mod" and is for adding mid-pegs for the driver.
You can get Yamaha "relocation brackets" for a steal now. They're super heavy duty, and move the pegs forward and down for the passenger. After looking at these, some guys just make their own out of a piece of steel. A couple of guys have actually drilled and tapped into the frame and just lowered the pegs that way. I have pictures of the relocation brackets in my album (mods). -well, I did, who knows what I have in there lately... Here's what they look like (they don't come with the pegs btw): If you search in popular mods and DIY mods, you'll see some ideas guys have come up with...

Are they tapping into the frame that the plastic disc covers right below the pegs?? If so, what is it for? I don't want to tap into it and regret it later. Sent from my iPhone using Motorcycle.com Free App |

the plastic disk covers the bolt that mounts the swing arm. And yes, they tap into that part of the frame. I'm not a fan of that, so I just used the relocation brackets. But, as I noted, you can just get a flat piece of metal and cut it into an L-shape and mount it with the pegs mounted to it. There's a bunch of write-ups on how to do it.

LD is correct, I did the "Comfortable Footpeg Mod" which was for the driver. I totally dig them, but for the passenger, I went with the Yamaha Relocation brackets. Wife loves em.
NeWarOrder had a drawing for his homemade brackets. Let me see if I can find it. G Quote:

I bought the yamaha oem's the other day on eBay for 65$. They are very well made and heavy duty. Now I have to buy the right size Allen wrench to remove the bolts.
