Hey all,
I know that some one you are using a Palm unit for uploading maps to the PCiii. I've never used a Palm before picking this one up on Ebay, so my question to you is: How do you: 1) Download the map to your Palm (via the pc of course)? 2) Upload the Map to the PCiii? 3) Does this require the 9v battery to be hooked up or do I just turn the key on? Will a Palm IIIe even do this? It's a 5 year old unit, so by computing life, it's pretty ancient.. Thanks for any help.. feel free to pm or email me if need be. I'm ready to try and start uploading maps to the Beast... |

After downloading the map to your Palm, you hook up to the PC 3 using the adapter, for sale on the dyno-jet website, and then upload to your bike. You can either turn the bike on or use the 9v adapter. The Palm IIIe should work fine, my palm is a Palm III and works. Most of your question can be answered here. http://www.powercommander.com/palmmanual.shtml
Hope this helps |
