Sorta like the VW Beetle its hard for me to tell those police units apart, but that looks like a nice new ride and not one of those updated modernized seventies bikes that got kicked to the curb by the Kawasaki 1000 police bikes. Its a classic looking bike, I haven't seen one like that around my part of the country for a lot of years. I think every PD around here uses the BMW police bikes and I'd like to ride one of those bad boys for a few hours because they seem real capable and comfortable for this area.

You did not have to mug a policeman to try a Harley. Privateers HD (our Halifax Harley dealer) had their demo day yesterday. i test drove a wide glide as well as a VROD night special. I have to say the VROD was quite different from any Harley I have ever driven. It sounded more like a sport bike than a V-Twin and did not have any typical Harley sound to it at all, but it runs like a bat out of He**. It had a very different riding position. the pegs are forward yet seem higher than the pegs on a Warrior or other Harleys. My feelings are mixed for this particular bike. I miss riding my Warrior as it is on the lift modeling parts and geting its new rear end however this situation will correct itself next week as i go to get my new to me 08 warrior from Bob in Philly.
