Not sure when this occured, but I found this photo on the Deals Gap Resort Safety Day photo page.

I hope this rider was OK.

Ouch! That looks like it hurt. Hopefully, he was all right after that. You never know...people survive skydiving mishaps and die slipping in the shower. You just never know.

Looks like his helmet broke the window of the car?

Stupid is as stupid does...as insensitive as it is ride within your abilities and maintain your lane. This doesn't need to happen and some will learn the hard way.

It appears the rider drifted over the yellow line into the oncoming lane of travel. Who's taking the picture? Who's calling the ambulance and tow truck?

I think that picture waas taken by Kill Boy on the Gap. He has several camera people located on the road.

He did cross the double yellow at the wrong time. Notice there are no skid marks visible. I assume there are skid marks in his underwear. THe front left fender of the SUV looks like it may be dented.

I keep looking at what looks like his left boot (at least he is wearing safety gear) and the angle of the rider's leg/body. I think he is going to require a lot of metal and pain meds.

That picture tells a big story without saying a word.
