He's gonna have a Fred Flintstone right leg from hauling all the steel's extra weight compared to his left leg. When he starts walking in circles (a) check for magnets in the area the boyz might be playing tricks and (b) check if he's wearing his ankle weight to equalize his left leg to his right leg!

Thank God he was not injured more severely. Hope you have a speedy recovery Adam.
Thank you!

Wow...that could have been any of us. I'm glad that its not any worse than it is. I think about these things every day as I hop on my steed and head to work

I hope for a quick and full recovery. You can replace a bike...

Default Update.

Thank you guys.

They are going to total his bike JD. Adam is getting tired of not being mobile, but otherwise healing quite well. He can barely wait to get back in the saddle again....

Thank you all again

Default Another update..

Adam was doing good. Went over to see him a couple weeks ago. He was healing nicely from the surgery, using a big black boot thingy and some ergo crutches....

He had recieved his new bike that he plans on modding quite a bit when he is better. He had not even sat on her yet so we went down to the garage and I talked him into it

He did end up having to need that lawyer after all Thank you all so much for the advice on that....

This weekend he ended up in the ER and back into surgery with a staff infection in his leg. I guess his body is rejecting the hardware a bit..

Still keeping his heart lifted though! I wish I could help more.

Again, he thanks you all for your energy!!

Glad to see you're getting better, Adam. Hopefully without so much pain. Get healthy, get modding and get riding. We're pulling for you, brother.

Oh, and thanks for the update, Sherri. We appreciate it.

Nah....my metal won't even show up at security checks. My leg has a rod in the tibia and a plate on the femur. The Fibula (I bet Adam knows these names now...lol) is still separated from 1982. We went 1.5 years and had to re-brake the tibia since it would not heal. That's when they cut .25 inch out of the fibula. Motorcycle wrecks can be a bummer....well actually for me, it was the 66 Bonneville that turned in front of me and took me down. The front of that car is some serious steel....

He looks like he already has the mindset needed to get better...he will do fine.....especially with good friends around him....good on ya Sherri.

OMG... that was painful to read. I'm so sorry that happened!
And yeah, he has a tribe around him for sure JD is still in my garage, I hope her fate isn't sealed....
