Then I guess being brought to the emergency room and being handed to Dr. Butcher (I swear) would have been real scary...oh wait, it was....lol I still believe I saw Black and Decker tools on the way in....

It all passes and we are better for it. I still have my leg and that is a plus....same thing for Adam. These things happen so fast, anything can happen....

We are all just glad it is going well for him.

See ya on our toast....so glad you will be there....

So, update.

Thank goodness he got a lawyer! Thank you for the sound advice again.
He is healing up better now after a sever infection and another surgery. His PT is going well...But he has been so anxious to ride his new bike that he did anyway Tisk...

He rode over to the house and we chatted for a while about all the stuff he will be doing on his bike. The mods will make the bike so nice. It was fun and comfortable to ride.... couldn't really tell the difference with the 1900 but I didn't get her out and really hit it.

Hi Sherri....thanks for the update. Glad he went for the lawyer.....too many moving pieces for him to deal with on his own. That Staph infection could have been a lot more serious than the bike injury, as he likely acquired it in the hospital (I'm a microbiologist among other things). Had to laugh when I saw the pic of Adam on the Roadliner [the one you posted back in december....hadn't read this thread in a while]. When I ran into my own idiot cager and crashed my VStar 950 a few years ago (which was replaced by the Warrior), I had (and still have) on 07 Roadliner Midnight. Left leg was crushed, swollen like crazy, but amazingly not broken, a few ribs broken.....could not ride for a few months....but after about a month or so, I'd go out to sit on the 'liner, start her up, back her down the driveway, ride back up, and repeat as necessary. Mental therapy

Hey Adam, you probably already knows this, but just in case.....I think the Delphi forum is one of the best for 'liners [http://forums.delphiforums.com/n/mai...id=2008521435]. There's also a linerwiki that's a treasure trove of info, how to's, etc. http://www.linerwiki.com

Adam is lucky to have a great friend and a quick thinker. I hope he is ok and gets well soon. Your a strong person.

Being in an accident is always in the back of my mind. Its what my nightmares are all about.

Get well and best wishes from your friends in OHIO.

Thank you! And I feel you... When I watched him ride down the street, I think I had a mini flashback and my tummy went in knots.... This summer I am gonna have a tiny speed bump to get over..

That will pass quickly and serve to heighten your awareness when you ride.

A hill, maybe, but surely an small one.

Once the wind is back in your face, the lessons will be all that remain.

Glad all is as well as can be. I know he has a liner but is he not welcome here. We do have nonwarrior members right?
