Would have hurt much more if it were a big SUV instead of a vette ...

That particular turn/curve is a hard one in the dragon. I recall seeing another accident photo on here about a month ago where a guy hits a SUV in the same spot. The trees match up in the background both shape size type and color. Tough turn but speed and control were and are factors most of the time. Keep it safe.

Also, standing on the rear brake at that point in turn tends to stand the bike up straight and point it where this guy went.

Tragic, ruined a great day for at least two people. Going too fast, frame hit, lifted the rear tire for a micro second, scared the inexperienced rider, he cut the throttle, the bike straightened up and disaster for him and the Vette driver. I experienced guys coming in my lane on the Blue Ridge Parkway a couple days ago. The parkway speed limit is 45, both bikers and cagers alike exceed the limit by quite a bit. They drive and ride over their vehicles handling capabilities and endanger themselves and others needlessly. A lot of those corners are blind, if there are rocks or deer or a stopped vehicle around the corner you're screwed. Save the thrill riding for a closed track where it's 100% safer. Don't ruin your day and ruin it for someone else.

Yeah that's ugly, I wish there was another pic or two between the last pre-impact and the first post-impact picture ... anyway, that is precisely what happens when you are not focusing on riding. If this guy had not frozen up when he saw the vehicle he might have been able to pull through the turn. His speed was obviously too high but if he had kept his trajectory through the turn instead of just crapping his pants and going straight into the **** vett he might have made it. 10 bucks says he's never taken a motorcycle safety course.

I'm sure he's going to sue Killboy for "distracting" him. You know that accident was 100% not "his" (Killboy's) fault . If someone wasn't taking pictures he would have made it home safe. This post was 100% sarcasm.
