**** my boys are 26 & 23 and I still remind them of safety and stupid drivers in cars, part of being a parent I guess!! So far only one has laid his bike down to avoid a STUPID DRIVER!! Cell phones should be disabled while in motion of 10 mph, just my opinion.

I feel you. I have had too many encounters with drivers not on cell phones...looking right at me while moving into my lane..so add more distraction on top of idiocy and a positive outcome is unlikely.
I can't think too much about it or I just won't allow it. Which is not what I ultimately want. I need to remind myself that we can drill safety and common sense in as much as possible..and in the end it is still their adventure and lessons to face. Which is hard when my Mommy senses are going crazy!

Very nicely done!

"Oh my god what is she doing?" ha ha...

Both my daughters were on scooters for a while.
It's a part of growing up as far as I'm concerned.
These experiences make for good rounded skillfull drivers and I was proud of their achievents.
You should be too Sherri (In fact - I KNOW you are!)
It's definately stressfull as a parent to see them on two wheels though isn't it?.
I can't help feeling it's only a matter of time before she's heading out on her own bike -
although I personally think a cruiser or naked bike would be a better choice for first bike.
Thanks for sharing the vid.

Excellent idea. I wonder if it would be possible for manufacturers to do so, IF they would. Most likely not, people riding as passengers in various vehicles would be their reason. Excellent idea though. Imagine the lives it would save.
